Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup sultana optional
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup self-raising flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 125 g margarines
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Method

  • STEP 1 melt margarine and honey together in a pot.
  • STEP 2 Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and add the melted margarine and honey.
  • STEP 3 Mix well and spread in a pan Lamington.
  • Step 4 Bake in a 180C for 10-15 minutes.
  • STEP 5 Cut into squares or bars while still warm.

Notes

sultana optional. Can add other cereals such as All Bran instead of raisins. Great for the lunchbox. The original recipe called for about 140 g margarine -. This works best, but I cut down fat or slightly lower
