Ingredients

  • 500 g chopped onion
  • 250g spaghetti
  • 800g tomato canned diced
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth (liquid)
  • 1 cup tasty grated cheese
  • 1 pinch * salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • STEP 1 Preheat oven to 200 ° C (fan 180C forced).
  • STEP 2 Cook onion in a pan with a little oil until tender, alternatively, high-power microwave for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 3 Spread evenly in baking dish
  • Step 4 Break spaghetti into 10 cm pieces, scatter over the onions. Season with salt and pepper. Add the tomatoes and stock, stir to combine.
  • STEP 5 Cover with foil and cook for 30 minutes, remove foil and top with cheese.
  • STEP 6 Cook for another 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is golden.
  • STEP 7 Serve with a fresh salad.

Notes

I do not know where I got this recipe, I found it again in my old cookbook written hand and rose for an easy meal. Suitable for freezing and reheat in the microwave. I prefer cottage cheese - is not as rich. cooked meat - chicken, ham or lamb can be added to the pot before putting in the oven - good way to use leftovers. The recipe can be halved for a smaller meal. Use tasty or cottage or ricotta.
