Ingredients

  • 4 egg
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup self-raising flour
  • 1 1/2 cup grated
  • 1 cup finely chopped mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup finely chopped bacon slices

Method

  • STEP 1 Preheat oven to 180C.
  • STEP 2 Whisk together in a bowl, eggs, milk, butter and flour.
  • STEP 3 Fold in cheese and fillings.
  • Step 4 Pour into a 24 cm plate of quiche, or milk of Texas muffin.
  • STEP 5 Bake for 40 minutes or up by the set.
  • STEP 6 Serve hot with vegetables or cold with salad.

Notes

Add 2 cups of any type of filling of your choice to this basic mixture. For filling, try bacon and onion or leek and mushrooms - finely chopped, fried in butter in a pan and cooled before added to the mix. You can also try to diced cooked chicken breast in butter in a frying pan until golden brown, and corn kernels. fillings cool before adding to the mixture. I also cut into portions and freeze in plastic wrap.
