Ingredients

  • 2 egg
  • 125 g softened butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cup self-raising flour
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

Method

  • STEP 1 Combine all ingredients in a small bowl of an electric mixer.
  • STEP 2 beat on low speed until blended, then beat on high speed for 3 minutes.
  • STEP 3 Grease a 28 cm x 18 cm lamington tin and line the base with baking paper.
  • Step 4 Pour the mixture into the tin and bake in moderate oven for 30-40 minutes.
  • STEP 5 When ice with choice icing and sprinkle with coconut or colored sprinkles.
