ingredients

  • 8 saffron
  • 3 tablespoons boiling water
  • 25 g butter
  • 1 1/2 cup basmati rice
  • 4 cup vegetable broth (liquid) heat
  • 1 pinch * salt to taste

method

  • STEP 1 Add boiling water to the saffron threads.
  • STEP 2 Melt the butter and stir in rice.
  • STEP 3 Add the saffron water, stock and salt to the rice.
  • Step 4 Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 15 minutes, until the liquid has evaporated and the rice is cooked.

Notes

You can use hot chicken stock instead of vegetable broth.
