Ingredients

  • 500 g rump steak (beef), thinly sliced ​​
  • 1 tablespoon oil peanut
  • 1 big sliced ​​onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small chili cut optional thin slices
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon zest
  • 3 teaspoons * curry powder to taste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons great peanut butter
  • 250 g coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro

Method

  • STEP 1 fire pan, add oil, onion, chili, garlic, lemon zest and curry powder and cook for 1 minute.
  • STEP 2 Add meat and cook until just brown.
  • STEP 3 Add the soy sauce, coconut milk and peanut butter and stir until smooth.
  • Step 4 reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 5 Stir in cilantro and serve.

Notes

I serve rice with this dish. To make this low fat content, it is possible to use the peanut butter light and light coconut milk. Substitute steak with fillet of chicken breast if desired. Chilli is optional.
