Ingredients

  • 1/2 cabbage
  • 3 97% without crust slices of diced bacon without fat
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 / 2 teaspoons * curry powder to taste

Method

  • STEP 1 Fry bacon in a pan with butter until crisp.
  • STEP 2 Add the cabbage and fry, stirring. When cabbage is cooked, add the curry powder, salt and pepper.
  • STEP 3 For a healthier option, cabbage boil and add the fried bacon. Add curry powder salt and pepper.

Notes

This goes well with mashed potatoes and sausage for a simple but tasty meal. I have small children so I take their hell before I add the curry powder. You can also try adding the onion and garlic for something different.
